Less ScreenTime is a Chrome extension designed to help users manage and reduce screen time by enforcing user-defined website limits and allowing users to earn additional access through physical activity.
Less ScreenTime does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. The extension only collects and processes data necessary to provide its core functionality.
The extension may collect and store the following data locally on the user’s device:
Camera access is used solely for exercise detection when users choose to enable this feature. Camera data is processed locally on the user’s device and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to any external servers.
Less ScreenTime uses ExtensionPay to manage payments, subscriptions, and free trials. Only licensing and payment status information is exchanged for this purpose. No browsing data or camera data is shared with payment providers.
All user settings and usage data are stored locally using Chrome’s storage APIs. The extension does not transmit user data to external servers except where required for license verification.
Less ScreenTime uses ExtensionPay solely for payment and license validation. No other third-party analytics or tracking services are used.
Users can modify or delete their data at any time by changing extension settings or uninstalling the extension.
